We were blown away by the food here. This is where artistry truly applies. The dishes were perfect to look at, with a journey of flavours. We felt the food was better than some of the Michelin star restaurants. The service was very friendly, with attention to detail. Highly recommend.

A really special experience with exquisite food for every course and an amazing wine flight to accompany. The view of the Bristol suspension bridge added to a great ambience in an interesting part of Bristol near the lock gates.

Nice food, we went for the exceptional taster menu.
Very long evening, dishes would either be bought extremely quickly or have massive delays between courses.
Cocktail menu is limited.
Staff have obviously been trained well as they were very welcoming and nice all evening

We were doing a mini tour of England and I found “The Chef’s Table in Tripadvisor. We often try out a Michelin rated restaurant and have never been disappointed. As we did not have a car it was quite easy to arrive by Bus. We were warmly greeted by the staff. There are 2 tasting menus and an A la Carte option. As we had been over eating already we opted for a 4 course A la Carte menu with a bottle of Barolo. My wife had Agnolotti and I had Scallops which were not over cooked. For the main course my wife had Hake and I had the Filet with what seemed to be a mushroom ice-cream and a variety of vegetables in a swirl. I cannot say enough about the desert. The chocolate tart was one of the best ever and I had a selection of local cheeses. We do not eat out often but will seek out Michelin rated restaurants as they always provide a range of flavors that I cannot do justice with a review. This was our last night in Bristol but I am so glad I sought out The Chef’s Table. At the end the chef came out to talk to us which was really nice. You do get a good view of the kitchen so do get to see what is happening. Well worth a visit if you are in Bristol and want something a little better.

We had an amazing Sunday lunch, excellent food and great service. The various courses were all excellent, we had the pork for main course. The staff are very friendly and show a real passion for their work and the food served.

Favourite restaurant ever! We love the food, the service and the setting. We will continue to visit the chefs as often as we are able to! Tonight we have the signature menu and ever dish was perfection!

We went for lunch on a Thursday at 1pm for my wife’s 40th. There was no one else there so it was like private dinning! We had a lovely welcome. The staff were friendly, knowledgable and attentive. The meal was not rushed at all and served at our pace. We went for the signature menu. The food was like a work of art, and every course was delicious. The chef even came out at the end of the meal to speak to us and ensure we enjoyed the meal and service. The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Definitely tipped for the next Michelin Star!

You have a clear view into the kitchen and the preparation is as much art as cuisine. Friendly service. Would love to go back

We had an exceptional Sunday lunch today at Chef’s Table. This was our first visit and we were truly impressed by the quality and depth of flavour of all courses. The staff made us feel very welcome from start to finish. We will definitely be back.

The whole experience was faultless. Attention to detail was phenomenal. So many variations of flavours. From food to service was exceptional. An experience not to be missed.

Visited the Chefs table for Sunday lunch (but have been a few times for the exceptional taster menu). It was fantastic! The food is exceptional as is the staff. You get what you pay for and this restaurant is lovely in every aspect. Why it’s not got a Michelin star yet i dont know! I would highly recommend to anyone.

Everything about this place is superb – the menu, the attention to detail, the service. It’s a small intimate restaurant but that takes nothing away from the atmosphere, even down to the busy chef coming around at the end to answer questions and check that everything was alright.

Love Chefs table but never been for the Sunday lunch. I love the set menus through the year and the Sunday dinner is no exception , exceptional!

Both had the roast beef for mains and shared the trifle and sticky toffee pudding for pudding. 5* well done to the team

Superb fine fine dining, excellent flavours and perfect presentation. Small charming restaurant with a personal welcome. We had the menu exceptional. The chef sorted out a pasta dish to the child off menu. Highly recommend, top of the table in Bristol.

Excellent food. The presentation is perfect with an assortment of interesting and fresh flavours. Each course with a different wine recommended by the lovely sommelier. You can see the kitchen and the chef. Yes it does look like a cafe from the outside. However, don’t be fooled and think it is anything less than perfect.

We had a fantastic time dining at The Chefs Table. We were recommended by friends and family to have the seven course tasting menu with wine pairing, and it did not disappoint. From the first bite of the amuse bouche, a stunning squid ink and red snapper bite, we knew we were in for an exceptional standard of food. Every course was wonderful and the paired wines were incredible and definitely worth adding on, they elevated each dish even further and the sommelier was wonderful with her explanations of each wine. The service was delightful, friendly and engaging. For such refined food, the ambience was effortlessly unpretentious. There won’t be any crumb removal between courses, but you will feel so well looked after, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure you are enjoying your experience. It felt like the best food you’ve ever had, but being at your local favourite pub where you know the owner and are welcomed like family. The whole experience was sublime. A wonderful treat, highly recommended.

The service was soo good the food is amazing and the atmosphere was great the prices are great definitely recommend and will come back next time 😄

Yesterday my family of four went to the Chefs Table for their new Sunday dining menu.
What a wonderful experience we all had.
The food was absolutely to die for.
We started with five small plates for us all to share.
All very different and all so delicious.
After this followed a soup course which was also just faultless ,the flavour of the soup was superb .
The hardest thing for us was when the main courses were brought to the table for us to see what we would like to choose, as everything looked so delicious.
We eventually chose the pork and fish dishes and we were definitely not disappointed.
My husband and son both said they had never tasted such lovely pork.
We would like to give a big thank you to our server Coco.
She was so lovely and really welcoming on our arrival, which continued throughout our service.
Her enthusiasm when she was explaining all the different courses was so lovely.
Last we would like to say a huge thank you to Chef Conrad and his amazing team for such a wonderful experience.
We will definitely be returning again very soon.

We went to The Chef’s Table for a birthday celebration and it was just fabulous!
The staff are super attentive and the food just delicious, the setting is one which allows an intimate and friendly setting, where you can enjoy refined food and yet relax as if you were in your own home. Conrad is super talented, we can’t wait to return and massive thank you to the team for making such a special day ❤️

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff couldn’t have been more welcome and attentive. Loved the mixed hor dourves. The pork was the best I’ve ever had and others in our party said the beef was amazing.
Desserts were so good as were the lemon curd brandy snaps. Amazing value for a high quality, chilled dining experience. Just go! You won’t be disappointed.

Today, we went to the Chefs Table to have only what I can describe as an incredible Sunday lunch , it was a BANQUET!!
We started it off with beautifully presented selection of “small plates,” followed by a delicious mushroom and tarragon soup, which was served from a trolley out of an” old fashioned soup terrine “, by one of the chefs.
Whilst we were just finishing that, a “Parade of Main Courses “were presented to us by all the chefs ,there was beautifully pink Roast Rib of beef ,or French trimmed loin of pork ,with stunning crackling ,or an incredible whole Monkfish ,and lastly a beautiful vegetable roulade. The waiting staff then came along and took our choices. They were served to us along with a selection of vibrant vegetables in old-fashioned vegetable bowls, which you helped yourselves to.
We were then presented with an exquisite dessert trolley with four choices, all of which were beautifully presented. Rice pudding brulle , trifle with panacotta, sticky toffee with a caramel cream, or choux pastry filled with a chocolate cream on a chocolate cup filled with the lightest mousse you could wish for, and to round it all off we were presented with petit four homemade cream filled “Brandy snaps”
Definitely worth another visit

Initially we were a bit taken aback at the look of the restaurant as it looks more like a cafe. The food however was amazing as was the service. Only thing that didn’t go down well were the ‘charred’ peas with the fish that just tasted dry and burnt.

In my opinion the best food in Bristol if you want fine dining.
Interesting combinations with vegetarian and vegan option for all courses.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Four of us had an a la carte dinner. Dining room is small. Delicious food but just not enough of it. Scallop starter in particular is minuscule. Limited wine selection by the glass. Nice atmosphere. Good service.

Fabulous lunch experience. Me and my daughter had the signature lunch 5 course tasting menu. All the courses were beautifully prepared and presented washed down with a nice bottle of Provence rose. The staff were welcoming and engaging particularly Chad are waiter for the day. Thanks guys we will return no doubt.

My husband and I chose the Chef’s Table to celebrate the sale of our London home and moving back to Bristol. We knew the restaurant was well known for it’s fabulous 7 course taster menu, which we selected. I have never had such beautifully presented dishes full of flavour, a unique fusion of ingrediants and taste. The courses are quality not quantity but with 7 courses and canepes, you don’t leave hungry! Wine menu was exceptionally good and well priced. The staff were most attentive and we met and chatted to both head chef and owner. I cannot recommend this enough for that special occasion, a wonderful meal.

We had the best experience at the chefs table yesterday. The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything was just to die for! Our server Ellie was so sweet and ran us through every course very well. Thanks so much for adding that small birthday detail as-well for my boyfriend!! It was so sweet and my boyfriend appreciated it so much – it’s nice to be served by someone who pays attention to detail and makes our experience better. The chefs did a fantastic job and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks so much for the best celebratory lunch. 🙂

This is a very good restaurant. Quite low key and informal in presentation. The menus- 3 choices of menu- are imaginative and the results were really delicious. The service was thoroughly efficient and very friendly. Quite expensive but we thought well worth it.

The Chefs Table Bristol is perfect for a family & friend celebration. We thought that all of the staff were absolutely professional, friendly, very highly experienced, and appreciated everything about our experience here.

We treat ourselves to a late lunch at Chefs Table almost every time the seasonal menu changes. Always exceptional food and service, whether it is the tasting menu or a la carte which takes our fancy. It is a go to flavour bomb treat! Thank you Conrad, Raff, Chloe and all the team 🥰
