Growing up in north Devon I, like many, accidentally fell into the hospitality industry, however, unlike most, I chose to stay! Not only did I enjoy the face to face contact and the fast pace environment but I also realised the potential to travel.
I spent nearly 12 years travelling to various parts of the world, working in many different roles and settings, occasionally dipping back into the UK and working in some fine dining establishments—this is where the spark really ignited.
In 2012 I had chosen to return to the UK and settle in Bristol. Lucky for me my timing was perfect and I was offered a position as cafe manager for Conrad which then led into a position as Wedding and Events Manager for the company. I loved and remained in this position up until going on maternity in early 2020, the year in which everything changed and The Chef’s Table was born!
I am Operations Manager for The Chefs Table and your first point of contact with the restaurant! I can still occasionally be found working the floor, enjoying the buzz of the busy happy restaurant and being part of this wonderful creative team. We love what we do and hope you do too!
